The aim of this course is to introduce students to psychological concepts and practices found in counselling, psychotherapy, and human relationships. In this course students will be introduced to counselling/psychotherapy theories, concepts and issues, will develop communication skills embedded in a counselling context, and will develop an understanding of psychological concepts related to interpersonal perception and learning.
