The aim of this course is to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills in scriptwriting, audio and video production and editing, and an understanding of commercial, public and community broadcasting industries. Students develop news gathering, writing and broadcast skills through the process of generating broadcast story ideas, conducting interviews, recording voice overs and vision, and using software to edit and compile audio and video news stories.
