This course aims to develop students' capacity to meaningfully integrate literacy and numeracy across the curriculum. A key focus will be on critically examining prevailing conceptions of literacy and numeracy, and analysing how national and international standardized assessments powerfully shape and constrain teaching and learning in these domains.
