This course will examine the historical development of digital technologies and platforms and their impact on storytelling, emphasising their capacity to tell different kinds of stories around the social, cultural and political dimensions of contemporary society. This course expands student understanding of media production by considering how aspects of digital media intersect with local and global issues of space, aesthetics, personal, political, cultural and public life.
