This course will provide students with an understanding of the institutional and political environment in which planners operate, and to discuss the implications of changes to these environments for planning as a public sector activity. Students will develop knowledge of the changing political and institutional environment in which planners operate, and the resulting impact on the development of planning policy and built outcomes.
